Pinball Dreams HD app for iPhone and iPad

This game brings back one of The best Games from The Commodore Amiga to The iPad! Simply superb! Wonderful graphics, Great music and endless Fun. Thanks for this One!

I always loved the Pinball Series from Digital Illusions. And recently I found out about this conversion of Pinball Dreams. And what should I say? It plays like a dream. It is so well done, that my old skills are still working. And all 3 cams are good to play. The physics is not state of the art, instand it is a real good transfer from the feeling of the old Amiga original. I love this game for 20 years now... And this is by far the best version, besides the Amiga version. Great job. And now please the same with Pinball Fantasies/Illusions.

Great job! Continuing their fine work with porting over this classic pinball series, Pinball Dreams HD is another fine entry, but this time with a superb fresh coat of paint via a 3d upgrade. Graphics are great, the play is fun (but more on that in a second) and the design/modes on these 4 tables (and the integration of gamecentre) will ensure repeat playtimes for quite a while... a true winner. But, there is room for improvement, as with the non-hd versions, I find the flippers to be somewhat slow in responding to activation; either via the flippers being too slow, or just a plain delay in response. This is something that can be compensated somewhat the more you play, but give pinball HD a try and youll see what I mean by instant response which imho is needed to fully appreciate any pinball table. Still, this is serviceable and as mentioned, can be compensated, so the game is still deserving of a 4 star. However, either a tweak to improve this OR at least providing a customization option where we can tweak this to our liking and this review turns into an instant 5 star. Next up... I wish: Aside from giving the HD treatment to Pinball Fantasies and Pinball Illusions (still waiting for this one :) ), I would love (and hope) that the license can permit a "Pinball Dreams HD Enhanced" where the same tables are given a modern facelift via graphical tweats, additional modes, DMD and most importantly multiball. Had this on my old 486 PC back in the day and lost my mind when I seem it int the App Store when I got my first iPod touch. Now having it in HD proves how good this game is as they continue to pull out this gem and shine it up for everyone to enjoy. Game play is great and the soundtrack has me humming the beats all day long. Love me some Pinball Dreams.

Worth it for the music alone. The tables are faithfully converted. Feels like Im holed up in my childhood bedroom with the old A500+ again. 50 extra balls out of 10, would have nostalgic pinball experience again.

It worked on my 4s and iOS 7 for sure. No longer, the ball doesnt move at some point. I hope it gets fixed.

Non malaccio ma - manca una modalità "Amiga" con colori identici alloriginale e stesso fluidissimo sistema di scrolling verticale - la reattività del Touch screen e troppo bassa, i due flipper sono troppo lenti a tornare in posizione Not too bad but - no Amiga mode with original colore and original smooth vertical scrolling - Touch screen is too slow in resa ring, flipper animations not on par with ball speed.

I loved the iPhone original, but this remake has a distracting moving camera and molasses-slow controls. Save your $5 and keep playing the far-superior 2D version.

Since the update, I love this game. They updated the speed and included the 2d and static camera views. I have to apologize to the developers, I was pretty harsh with my first review. I recommend this game to anyone that loves pinball. Great job Cowboy Rodeo Ltd.

This update addressed and corrected every signal problem I found with the previous release. Works absolutely beautifully now and the new static camera view is perfect.

I remember playing the original version on the IBM PC back some years ago. The game has translated very well, and the 3D effects are a nice touch. Though the physics arent real as compared to real pinball machines, for a video game theyre very well done. In translating the game into 3D, the physics of the original video game are completely unchanged, which is a definite plus. For the price, you get four tables with a wide variety of themes to play. Thats hard to beat! I cant recommend this game enough if youre a fan of video pinball games. Great pinball sim and resonates with retro gaming enthusiasts alike!
